| Second hardest thing to do after the bar-top was this awning. We ordered up a giant 30 foot Roll of pre-woven Elephant Grass (they called it "thatch" but we know better!) from a place on eBay called "The Tiki Shack". Paid extra to get it Fire Retardant. Took a little longer too. They did a spectacular job on the weave and all, but its a pain in the ass to attach and get to lay right over the bamboo poles. We ended up cheating and using regular wood but facing it withy bamboo to look "islandy". |
